The workshops were developed in response to feedback from the PBR Reform Program and aimed to support QPs in meeting their legislative responsibilities under the PBR framework. The sessions covered key aspects of the PBR system, including the role of QPs, best practice for growing trials and preparing variety descriptions, and updates on policy and system initiatives such as the modernisation of the Interactive Variety Description System (IVDS). The report summarises the workshop content, key discussion themes and stakeholder feedback, and informs future approaches to QP training and engagement.
