The new form will be available through our Online Services, and will replace multiple existing forms with a single, streamlined form, making it easier to complete and submit a Part 1 application.
These changes are part of our ongoing work to simplify the filing experience for PBR customers, in response to feedback. They will also help reduce manual and duplicate data entry throughout the application process.
Key information
If you have an existing draft application in Online Services, you will need to lodge it before the new form is released.
Existing draft applications will not be migrated to the new form and will no longer be available after the new forms are released.
To support the transition, we will continue to accept applications using the current PDF form for a limited period after release.
An updated Part 1 PDF form will also be provided as an alternative lodgement option.
Application fees must be paid at the time of filing.
Guidance and support
We will hold online information sessions on 31 August and 4 September to demonstrate the form and answer questions.
You can find more information and register for a session at Online information session: New PBR Part 1 application form.
Further guidance, support information and launch details will be published before the new form is released.
